ところが早生まれの子を持つサラリーマンの場合、大学1年の1月からやっと減税が始まる。更に卒業間際に22歳になった子供は4月から就職し扶養家族でなくなると、結局4年生の12月まで3年間しか控除による減税が受けられない。4月～12月生まれなら特定扶養親族と控除対象扶養親族の差額25万円（63万円－38万円）の控除が4年間なのに、早生まれだと3年間になってしまう。およそ4人に1人は早生まれなので、かなりの不公平感があると思う。

　このことは税理士のブログなどではいたるところで話題になっているが、テレビ、新聞ではほとんど話題にならないのも不思議な話だ。そもそも子ども手当は溢れるほどニュースになるが、それにともなう増税はあまりニュースになっていない。やはり記者をしていてもサラリーマンは税金に興味がないということだろうか。
